In parts of the world there will be mostly slums. Slums are little places where poor people live and there’s a run-down area of a city characterized by substandard housing and lacking security.  Some affects that slums can do to human populations are that there can be dangers for humans because of pollution, increase of population and the government does not care about them and all of this affect human population. Although there is high population in slums they can be dangers to humans.

The reason why slums are dangers for humans is because there not sanitary." The foul river carries not just sewage, but also chemicals from farming estates outside the slum. It's littered with refuse, too: plastic bags, glass bottles.” Also slums have diseases that can affect humans. .In this quote it shows that slums has diseases and sewage's so that's why it harmful to humans. Although this is not the only thing that will affect human population and that is the increase of human population.

Slums have an increase of population which can affect the world's human population."Kibera's true population isn't known, but there are probably as many people living here as there are in San Francisco..."This quote shows that there are too many people in a area that people can not tell the exact or estimated population is in Kibera. This means that there is a high population. Although slums have high population the government does not care about the people in the slums.

The Government that controls the slums in their area does not care about the people in the slums."The government is interested in the land, not the people..." , "Without the consent of the people, the government can't start this project.".This quote shows that the government is using the people to do thing so that means that the government does not care about the people living in the slums. All of these have affects on the human population.

So all of these things can affect human population in negative and positive ways. All of these points about how slums can affect the human population are that there can be dangers for humans because of pollution, increase of population and the government does not care about the people on slums. These three points can affect the human population. Like giving others diseases or increase the population. Can slums give more than problems to the world or give some positive things to the world.
